offered to anyone who loves to dance.
offered to those seeking more intense training
Our recreational dance program provides the casual students an outlet they desire for the enjoyment of the activity. Recreational students may take as many classes desired and are registered by level and age group. A minimum of one ballet technique class per week is required to take Jazz, Acro, Musical Theater or Modern classes. Tap and Hip Hop do not require ballet. The attendance policy is more flexible and performing is optional (although most participate). All dancers receive the same teaching methods, mid year written evaluations from each of their teachers, years of accomplishment pins and trophies, performance opportunities, invites to special events and more.
The Pre-Professional Program at ADF prepares dedicated and passionate dancers ages 6-17 for a career or increased performance experience in the dance field. We believe that it is important to prepare our dancers for both the concert dance world and also the commercial dance industry. Dancers in the pre-professional participate in a rigorous yet fun and rewarding training program and a performance/competition season that will prepare them for entry into a college dance program or a performing and teaching career.
Entry: Students are either invited into the program by the Director or by audition.
