DRESS CODE
Dancers must be dressed in the appropriate uniform for their classes listed below.
Hair must be pulled up away from face for all classes.
Buns are required for Ballet class.
Pink or black leotard, pink tights and pink Capezio Daisy ballet shoes.
Boys should wear white t-shirts with black shorts or sweatpants, black ballet shoes.
Comfortable, movable clothing barefeet (leotard underneath is recommended).
Both adult and child comfortable, moveable clothing with barefeet or socks.
Black or Pink Leotard, pink or caramel tights, caramel tap shoes.
Comfortable, movable clothing with black high top sneakers.
Black leotard, pink tights, Black boy shorts are allowed for tap and jazz
Boys should wear white t-shirts with black shorts, leggings or sweatpants, black socks, ballet shoes.
Pink leather ballet slippers (Bloch, SoDanca) split sole preferred for dancers 10+
Pointe shoes vary on dancers anatomy (see instructor for more info)

Black Oxfords for Tap 1 and higher
Caramel Capezio E-Series jazz slip on
Bare feet
All Classes - Black leotard with pink tights for ballet. Booty shorts, black tights, black capri or dance pants will be allowed for Jazz,Tap & Modern. **
Ballet - Pink leather ballet slippers, black ballet skirt (optional)
Tap - Caramel Capezio Mary Jane Tap Shoes (kinder-Primary) Black oxford Tap 1+
- May vary depending on costume needs
Jazz - Caramel Capezio E-Series jazz slip on, black jazz pants or boy shorts
Hip Hop - Black High Top Sneakers used only for hip hop class, solid color pants and tops will be allowed
Musical Theater - Jazz shoes or character heels may be required
Pointe - Pointe Shoes, black ballet skirt
NO JEWELRY OR STREET SHOES ALLOWED
**Please note additional items may be required for the recital - example(heel taps/foot undies/combat boots/undergarments/makeup/hairnets etc.)
We have a small boutique with all of your required items.
If we do not stock your size we can easily order it for you, with NO SHIPPING charges.
Dress code must be adhered to by the first week of October.
Keep lobby/Dressing Rooms neat and tidy
No food/beverage/gum allowed in class
Bottled water is permitted
Please use soft voices while classes are in session
We will loosely operate based upon the Ludlow School Calendar. Please see Alegria school calendar for clarification- as could be open on some school closures.
If the weather is questionable, please call/e-mail the school prior to coming to class. We will have a message posted Facebook by 3:00pm weekdays or 8:30am for morning/Saturday classes.
Adult open enrollment classes, please call ahead or register though MIND BODY to hold space in class and confirm class will be held.
Respect others personal space, creative abilities, learning styles and belongings
Cell phones/tablets will not be allowed in studio spaces without direct approval from instructor.
